Has anyone else had this issue? If I buy the recommended aftermarket wiper blades, the passenger side is too long and beats against the side of the window every stroke. It's very annoying, but I don't see anyone else complaining about it and apparently 18 inches is the correct size for the passenger side.

Hard to tell from the angle of your picture, but is it possible the wiper arm has slipped a spline. On my '05 the passenger side wiper angles up just a little when in the off position. You may just need to remove and adjust the arm on the shaft.

You realise that the passenger's side wiper is smaller than the driver's side. It looks like you have a driver's side fitted to the Passenger's side.

Arm slipped on drive splines, easy fix!

    - Remove both wiper arms from their drive transmissions (normally a 12mm or 13mm bolt)
    - Turn car and wiper control to ON, allow wiper motor to run for a few cycles, turn wipers and car OFF
    - Reinstall wiper arms so that the blades are ~1" from the bottom of the windscreen; this should result in them being 90* to the centerline of the car +/-

    Enjoy.
