Aloha all, I bought an immaculate (gotta love the anal retentive) 2007 Prius yesterday. I did take it for a test drive, nice hilly road. Today, now that the adrenaline has worn off a bit, the engine feels a wee bit noisy, going up hill, under load. Maybe because it's so quiet otherwise... is it normal? completely. these engines like to buzz when you hit 'em hard, there's not a whole lotta horses. also, the lower the battery, the more engine you need, and more buzzing! relax and enjoy the ride!
