No, nothing major. You'll have a tremendous cushion for HVAC use in the winter and you can drive "normally" yet still achieve tremendous economy. Another feature commonly overlooked since it's so new to the driving population is one-pedal driving. That's something one gets accustomed to real fast. (y)

Side question about the one pedal driving....
Do the brake lights come on when the vehicle is slowing down?

they better, since the article said you could use it for some 90% of your braking. one concern, like anything else is people don't have their right foot 'brake ready' in an emergency.

As with a lot of things in life, it depends. There is a DOT reg that stipulates a certain g-rating during deceleration for required activation. The bolt will activate brake lights. I think a general rule of thumb is if the car will come to a complete stop via regen (1 pedal) then it will use lights.

Or you could argue that it is better in an emergency since you will already be slowing down during that time it takes to get your foot to the brake.

For 200 miles . That will be enough for me. I don't trust Chevy. I wish Toyota go for it first

Good point. And also, if equipped, there is a low speed auto-braking feature that may activate.

i think too many of these high tech features are causing driver inattention.

Nice test drive from the media tour event. Good demonstration of the interior roominess by the 6ft driver @ 3:00 minutes in.

backseat looks good. hatch looks shallow, i wonder how many inches from hatch inner lip to back seats?
i wonder if discussion of range anxiety is a good idea?
    overall, i like it.

I can see Bisco now - in the backseat, with his goblet to the brim filled with Cabernet

I rarely see public chargers above 32A (40A circuit breaker) and few cars today other than Tesla can charge faster than 32A. That includes the BMW i3, I think. If you plug it into a higher rated station you will still charge at 32A.

The hatch access looks tiny. Looks like a porthole.

In my 2016 Volt....yes. Both in one-pedal driving (L gear) and when using the regen paddle.

The figure that stood out to me in the article about the Bolt was the 25 miles for 1 hour charge using a 240v charger you install at home.
