Does it disable the pedestrian warning sound heard outside the vehicle at low, all-electric speed? If so, I'm envious. I wonder if there's a way to retrofit a switch in the US like we had to do for EV mode on Gen2.
I don't have a button like that either. But I do think someone said it's for the "pedestrian warning" sound. (Mine is so quiet, I don't need to adjust the sound level.)
yes it's the Prius sound button. I disconnected my Prius sound speaker and so the light on this button flashes to warn me and thereafter stays on every time I boot up I mean start the car. iPhone ?
It's to disable the "Vehicle Pedestrian Notification System" (as it is called here in North America). Basically the low humming noise that is emitted at low speeds (typically below 25km/h) to give pedestrians an audible warning that you're behind them.
Hmmm - we don't have anything. If there was, I'd prefer a user-select noise. Do you want a Porsche GT3 or Lamborghini Countach today? Nope, just an F1 today.
