Maybe drill a second hole close to the first one and zip tie it?

 

I don't think it matters, but one of them had a "L" on it.

 

I actually thought about a zip tie for my one empty hole. I'll wait and see how the new clips work first.

And I still can't get my air filter box open! I unclipped the 2 clips, but the box lid just won't move.

 

Damn, I'm blind. I looked 3 times. Hope it doesn't matter. And they seem to work Ok. (The Toyota horns, the left one only, has 2 or 3 colored dots on it.)

Well, that's the LAST stinkin "MOD" I'm doing! I hate working on cars, except for when I did a simple oil change 30 yrs ago. I always foul something up.

 

The other one should have an H on it. High and Low tone. Nothing to do with which side is which. And they are SIGNIFICANTLY louder than stock. I put them on every bike I ever got to.

They sound great. I'm going to drive through a couple of tunnels tomorrow, and really test them out.
I washed my car, and I just have to avoid spraying water directly through the grill slits. (I have the funnels facing down as much as possible.)

Not common at all. Some Prius develop oil burning well over 100,000 miles - but I've not heard of oil leak issues.

A buck 94, Mister! I just got 6 new "clips". That's what they call them... clips. $1.94 at Norwalk Toyota. The parts man said they supply a lot of body shops, and the body shops are always asking for the "clips." And the new clips seem to fit tighter and better. (I think they might be ONE use, and out?)

Tried my new horns in the airport tunnel this morning... beautiful! Sounds just like a 1980's BUICK! (But I liked my Camry horn better. The FIAMM doesn't seem as loud as the Camry was. But it's much better than the meep-meep.)

(Off Topic: Kevin, Norwalk is only $48 for the synthetic oil change. I think I will go there next time. And the place is deserted... no cars waiting for service at 0745??? Any other dealer, and they'd be backed up out to the street. Parts dept was empty too. Never seen a dealer so empty. And they sure have a ton of Pre-Eyes on the lot.... had to check out the RED ones. The red actually looks better in photos, then it does up close & personal.)

 

I had my 90,000 mile super-service on my 2008 (edited) Prius done at Norwalk Toyota. They actually negotiated a price with me rather than just state what it would cost from some "book". So, I had a good experience there...

 

The Gen 4 Prius may be futuristic....
