My contention/opinion is any "coolness" created by this type of action is going to be minimal to the point of near non-existence.
How leaving a open cooler with melting ice could make the vehicle "drier" is an act of physics beyond my understanding.
If anything leaks or the cooler get's knocked over, it's going to be a lot wetter.

I think it's a bad idea. Nearly useless action.

maybe a brick, in the bottom of the tipsy cooler, to keep it stationary in the parked car.

You never know when the occasional side winder, earthquake or hurricane will come by and tip over your cooler:(. Or is that something else to frivolously worry about:whistle:.

Where do you think the condensation water on the outside of a sealed bottle comes from?

Your attempts at logic and reason were valiant, however we'll see if we can get to page #6 talking about frozen water and negligible temperature decline in a hot and humid area:D.

On the other hand, what do you think about putting a box of hot rocks in you car to keep the windows from icing up in the dead of winter?

So I tested it over a couple hours, I was able to reduce the cabin temps by 1-2 degrees... Success

I don't think the heat (even in Texas) is bad enough when the vehicle is parked to damage the battery pack. The key thing would be to let out the heat as soon as you open the door (lower all windows). This way, the interior will cool down sooner. It's the charging/discharging of the pack that bumps up the heat and demands cooling.

Somewhat true, but if the car is parked in full sun on a hot day, the battery temperature climbs well above ambient air. Therefore it already has a big head start toward alarming temperatures if you then drive it, with all the charging and discharging that implies.
