The mods start!

-Mine was 3m wrap in Gloss black.

-It looked fine without the tire shine but for the 2 min's it took to wipe it down it looked a lot better.

-I just used the foaming tire shine. Nothing crazy.

For the $200-$250 it cost to get done it was the best mod I've ever had done for the money.

Back when I had my old Charger I had the same shop wrap my hood scallops in matte black. My buddy now owns the car, it's over 3 yrs old as is the wrap and it still looks fine...

For the roof on the Prius though I would def. go gloss, flat would make it look dull.

Oh and the wrap actually protects the roof, pull it off after a few years if you get fed up with it and your roof will look like new! So there is that too...

This is very encouraging, I'll definitely have further discussion with my, um, wrapper.

 

I will probably end up getting my new silver Gen4 wrapped eventually when I get the tint done.

I normally get tint done the first few days of owning a new car but have been lazy this go round. It has been so damn hot these last 2 weeks I really wish I had gotten it done right away..

2016 Silver Three w/ ATP, rubber mats and cargo tray and body side moulding. LOVE the new car.. Never would I ever have seen close to below pictured mpg's on the old Persona on my commute... Amazing!! FYI, that was radar cc at 55mph for my highway portion...

You didn't ask... and I have in other threads actually. Lol.

Either way. I got $4600 off of the sticker price of $29595 and they pretty much paid off my truck. I opted for the discount over the 0% financing and managed to score a 1.90% loan for 72 months which I will pay off before that time...I am very happy with that...

 

I agree, the Gen 4's are in a league of thier own. And yeah I do agree with the EV like feel. They are fun to drive. I like what you've done to your car, it looks great!! Are you considering trading it for a three or something else already??? Or am I misunderstanding you?

Here is my commute to work this evening. Wow!! Granted I never exceeded 55 mph on the highway and the car was warmed up from a prior small trip to the farmers market and I turned the ac off just to see how it would do...but still. Phenomenal!! Oh and I really like the moonroof, and the ATP package is wonderful and used daily
