It was incredible indeed. I worked with 9 dealers, trying to get them to match/beat the other. I am sure I am not well liked at any of those places anymore. But just love my new Prius. Incredible car.
Well, now that I finally have my car, I need to revise this again. Apparently, the dealer lost the keys to my car while it was in the delivery bay the day before it was to be sent to me, so they ended up having to get a replacement car from another dealer and fixing it up with the same options. I ended up getting the side moldings and edge guards for free for my trouble. So my FINAL final breakdown is: Blizzard Pearl Prius Three with Moonstone Interior All Weather Floor Mats Cargo Tray Plus Console/Shifter Appliqué Kit Rear Bumper Appliqué Body Side Moldings Door Edge Guards Total MSRP: $28,400 Sale Price: $25,800 - $2,000 rebate Out the door price: $25,783.75 I probably could have done a bit better, but I'm quite happy with the car.
Hey all, new to the forum and just bought my first Prius. Wanted to share what I paid in hopes that it'll help someone else: 2016 Prius Three in Magnetic Gray Metallic MSRP $27,310 includes carpet mats and freight Certified Dealer discount -$1,353 (My Credit Union partners with True Car) Toyota Factory Rebate -$2,000 "Bonus Savings" -$2,403 (Me just beating them up on the price) Doc Fee $299 ( I let them have that one because they really were great to deal with) Dealer Accessories $0 (My car does have a pinstripe which I didn't pay for. The dealer removes the charge for anyone who goes through True Car) Final Price $21,853 MD Tax $1431.18 TTL $287.50 $23,571 out the door $5,756 off MSRP which was about $1000 better than any other dealer in the area. Probably could've done a bit better, but I am super happy with the price. Let me know if you have any questions about the deal that I didn't already address Oh, I also had them work up a price on the Prius Two because that was the model I looked at originally (and was actually a better deal): MSRP $25,260 includes carpet mats and freight CD discount -$981 Toyota Cash -$2,000 "Bonus Savings" -$2981 Doc Fee +$299 $19,673 (this pissed off a lot of dealers and nobody would touch that price) MD Tax $1,300.38 TTL $287.55 $21,260 out the door $5,886 off MSRP Go give 'em hell!
Wow seems like a great deal. I am not too far away from Annapolis - what dealership was it? I am just getting started with this process, but it might be worth an email to the dealer. I am looking for the same car a Prius 3 but with the ATP pkg. thanks
I purchased from Brown's Toyota in Glen Burnie, MD. I would stick to the Baltimore area if you can and avoid Annapolis and anything south or west. I would check out Brown's, Russel Toyota, and Jerry's Toyota. Russel had the second best price but I had already purchased from Brown's- Russel was at $22,207, same car with just carpet floor mats and no extra garbage. PLEASE stay away from Koon's in Annapolis, Waldorf Toyota, Bowie, DARCARS, etc. Typical high prices and tactics. I worked with Diane at Brown's who has been there for like 25 years
2016 Prius Three w/ATP, moonroof, shifter appliqué, carpeted floor mats, door edge and handle guards (clear plastic film), classic silver metallic. I agreed to pay $24,218 as a before tax and license price. Once those were added in, I financed $26,712.
Wow, that's a phenomenal price. Congrats!! No trade in I assume for you? That's about $1100 cheaper than my Costco price including the 2k rebate (Pick up my three w/ATP Tomm) I saved like $4600 off Msrp... Granted I had a trade that complicated matters and the GM really went out on a limb and went above a beyond thier trade offer for my truck, to the tune of $2100 over the initial appraisal, so I am very happy with my deal I went to multiple other dealerships, toyota, Subaru, VW (GTI not TDI lol!!!) and dodge and the deal I got at my new favorite dealership was a solid one.
Prius Three Touring - SeaGlass Pearl + Moonstone Dealer installed accessories: $0 $23,900 (after discount + rebate) + TTL = $26,400 OTD
Blue/Black Prius Three Touring MSRP: $29,291 -$2000 cash back -$750 Uber driver discount -$3000 dealer discount +$499 dealer extras +$233 regestration $24,273 OTD Portland, OR
Wow.. the prices are really flying off the cliff. It's really getting to a point where the value is outweighing the attractiveness.
Model four with ATP and PCP in white and moonstone interior, carpet floor mat package, console appliqué, rear bumper appliqué: MSRP $34,218.00 This includes additional doc and transfer fees from another dealer OTD price was $27103 They gave me $5400 for my trade in. State taxes and licensing: $2532 I did get the Costco discount of $2641 and the Toyota $2000 rebate. Now... I'm out the door but I still don't have my car.
