To me that's a very good deal! I am looking for a car with the same package. I went to a local dealer, with the help of CostcoAuto, the price quickly went down to 24700 with the $1500 rebate included. But anything thing below that is a tough fight. I haven't committed yet. How much is the sales tax in Seattle?
We got a Two (Silver) for $23,016 (including $1750 rebate + ~9% Taxes + fees) out the door here in the SF Bay area.
Never go back and check prices, after you've already purchased your car. I did, and I am kicking myself for not waiting a few more months. I'm seeing much better discounts... and that's before any negations even start. Maybe I'll go trade mine in, and start over.
About to close on my first one: Prius Three in Blizzard Pearl, with all weather floor mats, cargo tray plus, console/shifter appliqué, and bumper appliqué. $27,986 MSRP. I'm getting it for $25,800 before rebate, $26,283 out the door.
I have negotiated a price of $21,217 (plus tax+doc fees) for a Prius Two Eco which includes the $1500 incentive. I am still deciding between lease vs buy, but is it possible to get the price any lower?
I only paid $21,428 for the Prius Two includes $1,500 rebate, taxes and all fees. I checked TrueCar plus I had 2 dealers fighting over the sale. View attachment 114412
Final breakdown of cost for 2016 Toyota Prius Two Eco (Silver) MSRP: $25,865 Selling Cost: $20,600 including $1500 incentive before tax See attachments of quotes prior to showing up to the dealer. We got dealer A to match the $20,600 price at Dealer B when we showed up even though the MSRP was slightly higher at Dealer A. If you leave in Chicago, Toyota on Western has a Dark Gray Prius Two eco and I worked with a guy named Saul It looks like this is a good time to buy. I'm happy to provide my written quotes to anyone in the area.
Well I will probably take the prize for most spent out the door at 35,500 for a 2016 Prius 4 atp, pcp, full all weather mats package, body side moldings and door edge guards, wheel locks and vin etching (ugh). Included 2k in taxes and another 500 for title and tags. That also include 0% for 60 mo financing. My problem was that it took weeks to find the car in the color I wanted after dealer fessed up that the order I had been waiting two months for was never placed. You're always going to pay more when your in a hurry. Also had to travel 180 miles to pick up the car. Good news is that I've registered my 2011 Golf tdi with 115k miles on the VW buyback portal, and have a tentative date of 11/1 for selling my tdi back to VW for 17,500. Since I paid 26k for it 5.5 years ago, I think that's quite good. J
Oh yes. That was the biggest surprise. My wife found the car and when she said it had body side moldings I initially asked if they could be removed. Then I saw a picture of them on a silver and they looked great. And they look almost as good on my blizzard pearl. And of course their functional too, so Im very glad I have them. J
I got my Eco two for 21,888 on 06/2016. I don't like lease got burn before. Great price. Good luck. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
You really got $5265 off msrp!!! Did you have a trade in that they low balled you on and thus showing a huge discount on your new car? I bought 4 cars in the past from where I got quoted a couple weeks ago and they were at $2500 off msrp on the ECO (would have to be a dealer trade for the color / options I wanted) and I believe something like $3500 off on a fully loaded four that was on the lot (more markup on higher trim)... It was a better deal to take the $1500 rebate than the 0% since they would not combine them...so I walked for the time being. I guess I should try Costco pricing and walk in with that info, that or I might simply say give me 4K off msrp and we got a deal. When I asked about Costco pricing They said "our deal is $400 better than Costco"! I can't believe that now that I read this thread as isn't Costco 1k under invoice before the rebate? Or has that changed?? Pls advise if anyone knows re. Costco.! I know it's all a numbers game and honestly it was probably my trade in that they "overvalued" thus lowering my discount but who knows. Seems crazy how they can make any profit at all discounting a 25k car over 5k!
Tell me about it! When we got into the financing office after making the agreement, he almost threw up on his computer. I really do not know why these 2 dealerships were willing to do it, but I am not complaining. PM me and I will send you my OTD written quotes from both dealers
So I ended up adding body side moldings and door edge guards to my order. That delayed when I could get the car until tomorrow... and Toyota just today raised the rebate to $2000, so I get those add-ons for free! $26,226.73 final tally.
Just took delivery in Tampa, FL. With tax, tag, fees it came to 21,499 out the door for a blizzard white 2016 Prius Two. MSRP was written up to be 25,900. Now to look for accessories! Need to find an iPhone mount.
