Not necessarily. My father has a Tundra and he claims his has "automatic headlights" but really he's just relying on the battery saving feature. He always leaves his headlights on, then when he parks they stay on for about 20 minutes. The only reason I know this is I drove it 200+ miles one way, when I first got in I thought "oh headlights are on" and turned them off. Then on the trip back he drove, when the sun went down I eventually asked if he was going to turn on his headlights. "They're automatic" I had to tell him I turned them off. Really made me wonder if he should still be driving.

I may upgrade the tires and rims to 17's later on. I don't like hubcaps but we'll see. I have no idea where to look for rims. I would something like a darker gray.

When I was looking at the white pearl at the dealership, it was not my favorite color (up close).
But I really do think it is beautiful and I really like the little sparklies that you can see if you look closely.

I really like it. But as a native Californian (born in San Diego) I like our NC policy of no front license plate! Looks better.

What would be a fair price to sell the OEM rims and tires? Would it be a problem to put 17 inch rims and tires on the Two?

This is one way to get decent looking rims without sacrificing mpg. They are 15's and not 17's but an option. Sold in the chat shop too...

I actually saw them today at a local dealership on a silver two that was on the lot. It was an accessory that was shown on the window sticker. They looked pretty good.

Look cool, but I would want something more darker grey. I'm also thinking 17's would be better in the horrible WI winters we have?

I understand if you want a different color or look but I don't think bigger rims are any better in the snow or bad weather. Probably worse actually. Bigger rims = less meat on the tires = easier to flat out or blow out in potholes, etc. well you know how it works since your persona had 17's..

The 17's do def handle better and give a better road feel I believe.

I would love to keep my 15" tires, take those hubcaps off and just swap out the rims to darker grey ones if anything. I never liked hubcaps on the Prius. I know it's better for aerodynamics and that, but ....was never a fan of them. Your right on the low profile tires actually. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Now I just to find out how to price out these OEM rims and hubcaps. I would almost hate to remove a hubcap just to take a pic of the rim since it might fly off lol.

I'm one that actually liked the black Gen3 stock 15" rims. On my past 2013 three (before the Persona) I popped off the hubcaps (bough the little toyota center caps) and though they looked pretty darn good. I honestly do not like the silver plain looking rims that are under the Gen4 15" hubcaps either. Maybe if you try plastidipping them black or graphite or heck even gold before dropping a grand plus on new rims? Worth a shot, plus if that's a fail just peel the stuff off. If you love it them get them powder coated...

    Or go buy 17's..

Check out tirerack website and you can see the different rims look like on your car.. Not sure if a 16 Prius is on the site yet though.

It sounds as if the 17's might be the way to go. Only hard part now is to figure out how to price out the oem stuff to try and sell it.
