@4rpr15 It's way too soon to entertain trading, definitely sleep on it. You're getting the itch, that sales staff will be happy to scratch.

Twos in the Baltimore Maryland area are plentiful in every available color combination. I see ecos a good bit as well, but you'll have a difficult time finding the combo you want in a 4 or 4 touring out here.

On the Two Eco can anyone tell me do the hubcaps easily fall off or why do I see old and new generation Prius's without one or two hubcaps a lot of times?

Here's my 5-cent opinion. You only live once. :)

If you like the looks of the new Gen4, and all the new technology, and the new/improved L-ion battery, and the new "global platform" with the new suspension, and the quieter ride and better handling... you could probably get a very good deal on a Two or Two Eco at the end of the year (and maybe not even pay the extra $500 for the Eco.) I'm already seeing a few Two models priced in the $21,000 range, before the haggling.

Have you driven one yet? Think about renting one for a couple days and see how you like it.

I haven't seen any missing Prius hubcaps in my (crime-infested) area. And the hubcaps on my Three are very solidly attached.

And about the Two Eco tires. I saw Dunlop, Yokohama, and Toyo tires on the Eco. When I was checking out all the various models, the 15" Eco tires were no different than those on a Three, or a Two, or even a Four model. (They just put more air in the Eco tires, that's all.)

I was quoted $21,722 for a Two Eco today. Blizzard Pearl/Black interior.

Wow! Almost $4500 off sticker on a lower end model with not as much markup! That's a great price (y)

Did they say if they would honor the rebate, plus the 0% financing? My place would not..

What did they offer you for your Persona?

Anywhere from $17-$18k for my Persona. I didn't pull the trigger yet. Nice either the $1,500 with Toyota financing longer term or 0%.

To be honest I'm not sure I wanna give up on the Persona just yet. There are not a lot of major differences. That rear end of the '16 is definitely I'm trying to get used to.

I'm thinking by end of year these prices will be even better. Remember I was able to get close to $7-$8k off my Persona. :)

I'm also reading a very interesting article that says higher mpg really doesn't mean savings. You may have read that article.

Another thing that bugs me is those long tail lights. Those must be pricey when they break if someone backs into you.

So if you got 8k off your persona last year (wow!) that means the 18k they are offering you is just about what you paid for it last year correct? Win-Win!! ;)

There was a discussion about them a while back - in fact, when I put up the photo of my car when I test drove it before it was detailed and the hubcaps installed, there were a couple of comments about it looking better without hubcaps. They're on the car now. 20160627_134948_resized (1) - Copy.jpg

Just seen that. Hmmm. That makes them look kind of goody. Maybe it's because I have 17's on my Persona now.

That was the car as it came from the car-transporter, the wharf, and from Japan. It still had stickers on it and hubcaps were inside. Apparently you can get caps with TOYOTA on (or I guess BMW, LADA or whatever turns you on) to fit in the middle hole.

The more I look at it now I'm not sure I like how 15" rims look on the '16 Prius.
