    At least once after I unlocked by touching the door handle, that annoying shenanigan of automated relocking occured. Do not like arrogant programmers making decisions for me that are none of their business!

    I guess I'm thinking of times I've touched the door handle inside, then followed through and pulled it open. But yeah you're right: if you just touch it to unlock, it goes back to locked after slight delay.

    N.A. mirrors don't fold away on the 2016, do they? Meh, more stuff to fail.

    That would never happen.:LOL::ROFLMAO:

    Miss the old manual key.

    BTW, too bad it doesn't auto shutdown when no one is in the car for 5 minutes.

    I've got the opposite "forgets". I leave the car on while re-fueling, get in to go and push the button, turning the car off.

    Yep, I never had a problem with an old-fashioned "key." Never got locked out. Kept a spare in my wallet if I did. And my old key never needed batteries!! :D

    I agree with having an "automatic shutdown" option in the vehicle settings. That would be great. Shut it down and lock the doors.

    (This morning, I just discovered that you can disable the daytime running lights in the settings. I like those LED lights and always have mine on. But the option is there, for those that want to kill the power.)

    What did the 'Stones say: "Something's gained and something's lost...". The keyless fob has advantages, but it's too dang easy to screw up.

    And if you lose it: "Such as cost.".

    My son in law's father has a model T I am going to drive next week. Not sure it has a key but it has 3 pedals and a steering wheel throttle.
