Today I noticed a sound as I was driving almost like I forgot to shut a door. I believe it is coming from the vent which is located on the right side of the back seat.

Any ideas? I'm not sure if I ever heard this before. It's been in the 90's this week.

you answered your own question.:p it's your battery cooling fan, working overtime because of the heat. do you carry any pets?

This just happened to us this weekend. The traction battery cooling fan got up to speed 5 (out of 6) after a 40-minute bout of stop-and-go traffic in 90+ degree heat. We mistook it for the sound of an open door, but couldn't find one. I realized what it was after I checked EngineLink (app) and saw that the fan was on speed 5 and the battery temp was up to 122F
