Trunk space electrical wiring

    Hi!

    Is there any electrical wiring accessible inside 2016 model trunk space?
    Would need 12 V for up to 5A for powering some amateur radio equipment. Power should ideally be available always. But Accessory mode and higher would probably suffice.

    In old Prius models, 12 V battery was located in trunk space and I would usually "steal" power directly from there, put additional fusing and low voltage disconnect between the battery and equipment and this was it.

    I would imagine the brake light wiring would be an option, but you'd still have to tap off on the hot side of the switch. Can't think of any hot wiring in the back of the Gen IV. Good luck

    My 2016 Prius C has a 12V outlet behind the rear passenger seat. Got it new so no one added it _ I hope
