After stopping in a dealer and getting a brochure last week and doing research here, I figured out what I didn't want. Then it was easy to figure out what I did want.
No white dash board
No white seats ( just me, they would never stay clean)
No tire repair kit

So I went back to the dealer and explained I was looking for a model three with ATP, black interior. He went out back and found a gray model three, black interior, ATP, all weather rubber mats and that black cover for the white center cup holder. Perfect, I checked other dealers , no one had that. I went back to the original dealer. My sales guy said he hid the car on the lot so no one would find. I'm driving it now, sweet ride.

 

That's the lead time I got for delivery here in Germany, where everything is more or less standard. Good to see they are consistent.

 

I ordered on March 28 and was quoted late May delivery. When I checked back at beginning of May, I was told not to expect delivery until July.

 

So they are consistently late, like mine. And we ordered like a week difference. We are both getting nothing till July then....! Where does all the production go???

 

Wow, what a wait.
Was told Red was a bridge too far.

 

Classic sliver?

 

3 to 4 months is quite common in EU. At least based on my experience. Especially if nothing on stock or not in the pipeline already.

 

Ideal way to buy vehicles in terms of negotiating. I actually lie to them. My favourite color combo is present and I inform them that wasn't my first choice lol. If they see or notice a slight whiff of interest then they rape you even more.
