My low pressure hose got a hole in it and now my A/C only blows warm air due to the leaked refrigerant. Anyone know how remove the hose at the connections as it is not using standard steel hose clamps. Thanks.
The Toyota repair manual suggests use of a special service tool, 09870-00015. I suggest you subscribe to techinfo.toyota.com to obtain info about how to remove the fittings.
Or do you think it would be better to just replace the whole ac low pressure tubing as seen here 2002 Toyota Prius AC Tube Line Hose Low Pressure 04 05 06 07 08 09 | eBay Thanks.
While it is possible to replace just the rubber hose portion of the A/C line, it is probably not worth the added trouble. Normally, the whole assembly is replaced. If your Prius is a 2004-2009, the one in the eBay link will not work.
