My mechanic said the battery is not returnable. Also, it is currently not installed to the car. Only the accessories battery is hooked up. If your really up to it, I'll gladly give you a call and I'll give it a shot, but it'll have to be in the mornings. PM or email me your info
I just checked. There is one of the BEST Hybrid mechanics less than 20 miles away. Scott at Jue Motors in Covina, CA. He could easily set you straight.
Again, and for the last time, we've past the point of a bad diagnosis and who, what, when, and where. As far as I'm concerned, all of what happened has happens and I cannot undue any of it. Moving forward...this is a FS ad for anyone interested either for the whole car or parts of it. I'm happy to answer questions, but not anything related to whose fault it is or anything I could have, would have, or should have done.
I briefly spoke to one of their techs and he wasn't too surprised about the transaxle failing, especially at that mileage. At the end of the day, I'd still have to take it it over there for another diagnosis which means more money and what if it turns out that it does need a new transaxle. Now, not only am I back to where I was but had to pay for an additional diagnosis.
I feel your pain, man. I'll at least talk to Scott and see if he wants to buy it. I sent you my info. Feel free to call at your convenience.
