I think every car I have owned has had a low washer warning. This is one of the things that bugs me the most on the Prius. Clearly the designers aren't living in a snowy region with lots of road salt. I can't stand finding out I am low when I am out, in the middle of a commute.

Checking with my dealer. All may not have it. News at 1000.

It doesn't have a wheel well as such, just a slight (about 2") depression in the boot floor, in the shape of a tyre, with a threaded mount in the centre for the wheel holder. It seems, the polystyrene foam fits around the wheel and fills the boot floor, raising it by a few inches over the height of the floor with the goop kit. Mine's got the goop at the moment, I'll confirm this if/when I get the spare tyre kit next week. I hope there are some storage areas in the foam, as it seems a lot of wasted space if not.

Not on the UK models :(

Could it be possible that this feature is turned off when you get the car, and only availble to those with a super secret decoder ring?

    Meaning a Carista module.

According to the EU manual the feature is off by default (maybe because we don't have the moonroof option here) but customisable by the dealer.

The feature was turned off on my car too, but I activated it with the Carista Modual and App.

Not sure when I will ever use it, since it only opens the Windows, but does not close them. Perhaps on a hot day as I walk to my car in a big parking lot?

    ATHiker, it is!

I have one of the cheaper models (Eco 2) and I just got a Carista this week and changed that setting. It does roll down all windows when you press and hold the UNLOCK button on the remote. There is no remote rollup though.

Keep us updated. @Jim in NC says his Two Eco has it.

It's off by default. You have to get the dealer to turn it on.

Same here. It's off by default too. You have to read the manual and actually catch it to realise it's a customisable feature. This is why I copied the manual here to that people will see it.

So the dealer said they would have to hook it up to Easy Street in the shop to do it. Problem is I bought the car 7 hours away and wonder if a local dealer may charge to do it? may just wait until the next trip. Word out on the street is that it lowers all the windows.

The "key-in-door" allows remote up and down (although at that point, you could just press or lift up all 4 window buttons on the driver's door since all windows are Auto Up/Down). The remote fob allows auto-down (probably more useful).

People are purchasing Carista on Amazon and using that to change the settings themselves.

Anything else you need to buy to go with it?

    Thanks,

In order to make and save changes you also need the carista app ($19.95)
