central door locking with speed

    as i am a new prius 2010 owner and new to the forum please excuse my little technical questions. i wanted to know that at the moment my prius does not automatically locks the doors when reaching above 20km/hr as its suppose to.

    i went through the manual and tried to turn the power button on and pushing the gear in N and pressing the lock button but it didnt work. any helpers please

    Is yours different from USA versions in that respect? I couldn't make the instructions in the owner's manual for changing automatic locking behaviour work either.

    mine is japanese second hand bought from local dealer.

    i think mine locks when i put it in drive. came that way from the factory.

    mine doesnt lock automatically when i drive when it reaches certain speed as its suppose to so i need help on that

    Yes, that's programmed as the default behaviour in the US. The owner's manual claims we have the option to change it to speed-sensing automatic locking, or cancel both versions of automatic locking, using the rocker switch on the driver's door. However, their instructions didn't work for me.

    don't know if the OP's 2010 III has nav. If you do, go into settings to access this screen.
