no issues on mine... but I'm in SoCal.. we really don't get that very cold weather that would need the headlight washers to clear the headlight lenses........ ;)

I just put the covers of the washers on mine..... (y)

    Two words: Southern California.

The rear wiper is similarly useless, hence the rear wiper delete.

Now it's been sometime how's the LED change working? We have a 2010 that's eating low beam bulbs and instead of Toyota's wiring "fix" and or HID's looking at LED's which should have gone down in $$ and more out in circulation

I am also very interested in LED bulb change-out to convert from filament to LED..
The Oracle and GTR LED H-11 replacement bulbs seem to be the better than the rest but I am reading a few conflicting reviews on them.
Anyone here have experience with them?

Lights are holding up great. Performing like it came from the factory. Zero maintenance. It still has that wow factor every time I see it. :]

Thanks for replying -- many talk of the headlight issue with 2010/2011 and the service bulletin that has a harness hack job Toyota came up with but don't say which direction they took and the results --- so others can follow or do different.. Our dealer was more than willing to apply the "fix" for a hefty $$$. And some have said the HID conversion at times flicker or delay coming on.. LED's have come a long way and I believe I'm headed in that direction. It seems to solve a lot of issues.

    Hello gentlemen,

I just found this (very old) topic while browsing for help. I happened to acquire a pair of led lamps for my 2011 Prius but wasn't totally sure how to fit them in. I have a pair of 2016 Auris ballasts that seem to be usable but since there are 3 separate lights in the lamp I wasn't sure what those are.

My Prius is an EU spec and has halogen lights from the factory. It's quite clear, there's the parking lamp, short beam and long beam but in the LED lamp there's one more. What is is used for and how should it be connected? Thanks for any assistance.

The LED lowbeam consists of two mini projectors per side.

    No problem. :)

Before and after pictures in the first post show single halogen lowbeam projector in the original headlight, and dual projectors plus reflector highbeam in the LED headlight housing.

Hello there! Since I didn't get too much attention with my topic I need to ask you here @genetiix

Did you have a connector like this in your LED lamps? How did you connect the power there? Thanks!

U have to buy an adaptor like this from Japan

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1459037167.572589.jpg

Or cutoff the connector on the headlight & splice on a H11 connector & the parking light wire from ur halogen headlights

What if I decide to go easy and just cut the wires. How to do the wiring in that case? I believe the parking light connector can be moved from the old lamp to new one so I just need to deal with the short beam. But there seems to be 3 wires going for the short beam, why?

Or does anyone have a link where to order those adapters? Thanks!

The blue wire is not used. It sends a can-bus signal to the BCM. If a headlight stops working it causes a yellow triangle on the DIC. Sins ur Prii isn't equipped with LED headlights, it won't use that blue wire.

Here is a link however they have blocked it. Past history has shown that they will not unblock

Sorry for the necro. I found one LED headlamp on ebay in servicable condition and decided I would play with it. I am trying to locate the mating connector for the headlight, to make my own adapter harness. 103096_12814359_1133068753410104_9115232678358493625_n1.jpg Pigtail-27.jpg
