I actually have a Lambo Door kit in the garage for my Acura project. The Prius G's project has been pulling all my resources.

I've gotta live with it some more. The look is great, but I'm used to my Prius being super quiet. Now with the cat-back exhaust system in there it's.. not. I'll see how I like hearing my Prius on the city streets & highway cruises over the next few days.

Below is what it sounds like now.. May have overstepped my bounds here, but it wouldn't be the first time. Worst case, I pull it off and go back to stock or just rock the tips for looks.

I don't remember where I got it from. I got it from one of the Internet Toyota parts website. It was actually made specifically for the Southeast Toyota distributors. I love it!

Looks awesome! But I think silence is the sound of the future.
IMO, silent power is hot. I'm just sayin'. (y)

Whilst re-zipping my front plate, this time in the center, I confirmed that I really need a new bumper (or to atleast paint those plugs..)

But, I mean, if I'm already getting a new bumper might as well get something fancy, right?

I wish my REMIN ebony zebra wood overlay kit wrapped all the way down towards the start/power button like yours does. Yours looks better. I also notice that our wood grain directions are different as well (vertical vs horizontal).

In other news, the power button switch on yours came out cool! (y)

I think I'm with you Dylan. The Prius wasn't meant to exude noise. I feel like "that guy" now. I should've hit the emergency brake when we discussed "over-doing it" yesterday. lol - Talk about an "impulse-buy" on the spot.

It's always cute to see Prius's "going for it" whether merging into traffic on the expressway, or trying to keep up in traffic - because we know they have no power. But to see it, and then "hear" the little booger making an effort now because the tone of what little engine there is, is now exemplified with a cat-back system? It's not cute, it's funny.

I'm officially "that guy" I feel like. Or maybe I'm just being insecure? I feel like it's overkill though and I'm pretty sure this thing will be coming off in the near future. Not sure I even want the tip.

Below is what I'm dealing with in the interim though. Looks cool, sounds cool - just not for me I think. Feel free to weigh-in chat family!

    Cheers!

I've always like the catback systems for the Prius, but I'm probably the definition of "that guy" - I guess I've just committed to it.
I'd love to see a video of what yours actually sounds like.

I dig the Fledermaus quite a bit, and honestly I'm pretty into the Kenstyle full bumper too... proving that I'm "that guy"
Maybe I do just need to live the life and order that lambo kit.

I'm so glad you posted pics of your car with the amber fogs. I was actually thinking about testing some yellow fogs to change it up and have contrast, but now that I see yours, I'm gonna stay with the white LEDS. Thanks for sharing btw! (y)

Below is a pic of mine with white on white.. on white.

HP?? Maybe if I apply the placebo effect. Any other car I'm sure there would be a noticeable difference depending on the vehicle and existing performance, but not on this little nugget. lol :)

Pretty much whatever sound our Prius's make naturally when we use the accelerator, it's amplified with a nice 'Sweet n Low' tone. It's actually pretty cool. I think I just hate on it EXTRA because my other car is a 500hp BEAST (M5), and when you hear that exhaust in play, it's real and it MOVES.

If you're going for looks AND for sound, adding a cat-back system like this with a polished tip of your choice is the MOVE. (y)

I've yet to find a kit specific for the Prius.
I assume you'd have to go with one of those "universal" fit sets.
And even those kits are easily a grand or so... before install.
