It's running and smog. We haven't had the time to film yet since we're both busy with our regular schedules and we're only available on Monday to film but sometimes our schedule conflicts so we sometimes skip a week because of it. Thanks for asking though! :D

We don't have a reason to do it, but it doesn't look too hard. You pop the rear seat and the fuel pump and fuel filter cover is right there on the driver side. Remove it and you'll have access to the fuel pump and fuel filter together.

no problem :) I'm glad we could help.

I think I'll need techstream at that point... the brake light might light up due to drop in pressure by removing the caliper. I haven't checked yet....

Wouldn't putting the car in "invalid mode" cover that?

That's the theory but I haven't tried it, I would love to try it, but the Prius is my work horse car as of right now, I wish I have a spare car to work on.

I've had the rear caliper off. There's no need to disconnect the parking brake cable, unless you're actually replacing the caliper.

I would disconnect the 12 volt cable first. Remove the two bolts going thru the caliper lugs into the pins, then pull the caliper off the pads and back a bit, and tie it out of the way with twine.

After reassembly, depress the brake pedal a few times before reconnecting the 12 volt. You should be fine.

One thing: be sure the inner pad pin is between the caliper's spoke pattern, and stays there. You can check by verifying the rear wheels are turning relatively easily.
