Headrest removal?

    Can the outer, or all three, rear headrests be removed in the Gen 4 Prius? I may want to do this if there are no rear seat passengers. I don't have my car yet. Thanks.

    Pull up and they fold forward out of rear sight or push button at the base of the posts and they come out.

    I took all thre of mine out. They now live in the garage.

    i took all 3 of my rear headrests out also. never have any passengers back there, and i want as much rear vision as possible when traveling.

    I would like to remove mine but don't see how they come out, they fold forward easily.

    There is a "push tab" on the bottom of the post that will disengage the headrest. Push the tab and pull the headrest out...
