Toyota dealers know nothing of the paint code for the wheels. They refer me to specialists who repair and repaint wheels. They apparently just try to match the color. There must be an original paint code that was used when the wheels were first manufactured. They are a fine smoke silver more like a pearl, while the 2015 Personas have a darker silver grey wheel that is more typical metallic paint.

FWIW, if you're doing a complete repaint: the stock 17" rims other than Persona are the same colour as the classic silver. I appreciate the Persona rims are are slightly darker.

Apologies, I'm still a 'beginner' @ using these very useful 'Forum Sites', but here goes.

I have a 2011 Prius Spirit with alloy wheels, and yes Toyota have told me there's no paint code etc.
I need to repaint 1 wheel in particular which has become somewhat scrappy. Did you have any luck finding a suitable match thanks?

    Regards

Are those 17" alloy rims, like this:

The one spanner-in-the-works is determining if they're regular 17" rims, or the slightly darker (US) Persona rims. If they're not Persona rims, then the Classic Silver Metallic (paint code: 1F7) is a perfect match.

This is from personal experience. That's our car above, I've got the Classic Silver Metallic touch-up paint, and found when using it on rims it was perfect match.
