Sage advice, and we will follow it.

I'm looking forward to getting on the road for that experience. If only there was away to do that without having to endure the salesperson characters at the dealership.

:)Stopped by the local dealer yesterday. One 2016 Prius Two on the lot. Radical change in appearance from Gen 3 to 4. Looking at the 2016 along side of my current 2012 PIP Advance, I must admit I prefer the appearance of my 2012 better. No doubt there's plenty of improvements with the Gen 4. With low miles on my 2012, well equipped Advance with 17" wheels, I'm content with what I have, since my Prius is my alternate to my BMW i3 BEV.

If you like the way 2012 looks then she's a keeper and that's all it matters, I personally prefer towards more better handling, quieter, improved mpg and updated tech.

Consider this...in 3 months there will be very few "New" 2015s left...with even less choice on colors and options.

I think Toyota is running a $3,000 rebate until the end of February and 0% up to 72 months in some cases.

When you stop, turn off the car, open the door. The display says "window open"

What's your location? Your profile is blank..

I just did a quick search and for the 2015's near me in SE PA the deal is only 1000 off and 0% for 60! Or 2k off. Not that good.... Maybe I'm missing something..

The Gen4 is certainly gunked up with gratuitous strangeness inside and out, and it's a matter of taste as to how much of it works. Since you're driving a PiP, you may be encouraged to recall that the leaked sketches that came so close to nailing the exterior look of the Gen4 last July, a few months before the official reveal, also showed a radically different (and ironically less absolutely radical) front end for the upcoming PiP.

Here's where they were originally reported (the blue one was believed to be the PiP):

Finally wandered into the dealership during a service visit. Wasn't more than an open-the-doors-and-hatch-and-look-around session, but the girlfriend was aghast at the white interior of the 2016 they had on display on the floor. Instant deal-breaker (for that interior).

After recently cleaning up some wear/stain marks on my leather seat covers (some which were blue from overstained jeans)... all I can say is that paper-white car seats are a terrible, terrible idea.

The 'butt' of the new car seems curiously flat.

Ha, none of the cars I saw on display or test drove (I test drove 2 Priuses) had white seats, all of them were black. I wouldn't buy white seats either.

You've hit on a future, fuel efficiency hack, temperature controlled seats. By having active cooling elements in a seat, they can be both heated and cooled so the occupant is made comfortable. This would be more efficient than blowing hot or cold air in the cabin. Yes, some air flow is needed but it doesn't have to be the sole source.

An ideal solution would be a Peltier lined, seat. Depending upon polarity, it would heat or cool the seat quickly.

Got a 1500 ram with heated and cooled seats, but what I like is the heated steering wheel, best safety device ever.

Yup! I Love my heated steering wheel :) Currently own a 2015 Ram 1500 also and prior to my Persona I had a 2014 charger rt plus which had it as well. Worth it's weight in gold on freezing cold mornings!
