what is the voltage of your 12v battery?

Brandless 55Ah (not 45Ah).

Charging now. Will follow up, although today is the only day this year it is actually freezing so that may skew the results.

 

2007 Prius Touring model : 11.9v(engine OFF) and 14.3v(engine ON)
2007 Prius Regular model : 11.8v(engine OFF) and 14.3v(engine ON)

No issues with starting the engines with the 12v battery at 11.8 or 11.9v

 

12.1 is kinda low for a new battery. May need to fully charge it? I think your car in ready mode should be higher?

My 3 1/2 year old battery measures:

1 push: 12.5
2 push: 12.3
Full load (full blast heater, rear defroster, headlights on): 11.1
Ready mode: 14.7

mine almost 4 year old is 12.4 dead cold measured at the jump post.

 

My 2007 (base with original small OEM battery) was measuring mid 11v in the morning and dropping to 9v and killing the car when starting with headlights and defroster on. Needless to say I am in the process of changing the battery. Ordered a new AGM from Rural King that just arrived showing 12.7v, I put it on the trickle charger and will drop it in the prius tomorrow (well will probably require some modification to accommodate the larger battery since mine came with the smaller, non-smart key battery).
