Hello first time posting to Prius Chat. I fell in love with the 3rd gen Prius and was eagerly awaiting for the IV gen. However when the first images hit the web the shape of the front headlights really threw me off, especially the fang like indicator lights, but alas the car did come in that shape. Since then I have test driven the car and absolutely love it. I am planning on getting one, but was still wondering if it is possible to change the shape of those headlights. Basically removing the fang aspect and replacing it with the body maybe some kinda of add on to fit that hole. Pics below to show you what I mean.

White vinyl wrap should work easily enough.

Before I even read your post, the pics made me think it looked much more like a Gen 3. I do not know, I wouldn't want my gen 4 looking more like a gen 3, but of course everyone's mmv.

Someone with a Gen 4 correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that "fang" houses the turn signal bulb. If you cover it up, you'll have to figure out how to put a front turn signal elsewhere, perhaps re-wiring the parking light.

You are right Vman455 I saw a video recently and the turn signals are in the fangs. Rewiring is a possibility but it looks like doing this modification is more hassle then it's worth.

You may have to look to Japan for those Gen4 body kits...and they're going to be there first!

I think that is a custom Gen 4. The Gen 4s I saw on my dealers lot definitely were connected.

That's his point, he is addressing the OP who asked about changing the stock look.

Misunderstood his point. Definitely the vinyl wrap separation would be the easiest way to go.
