We got a Prius 4 in Blizzard Pearl with the ATP yesterday via Costco. Paid $30k + TLF. We got it at invoice, but they threw in all weather mats and trunk mat which we needed. Love it so far!
Thanks! Its better than the 3rd gen that I had. It's definitely a little quieter, but not sure if the Toyo Tires are to blame, but they do roll really good . In my commute today i got 62.5mpgs in stop and go traffic.
Are all the new owners running factory recommended tire pressure? I wonder what's to gain if you pump em up like the gen3's. I was running 44/40 on my old Persona and know I gained a couple mpg in exchange for a firmer ride...
I checked after about a week and found that the dealership had overfilled to factory specs. Mine are in the low 40's.
New cars often ship with tires at max sidewall, to avoid flat spotting. Then the dealership is supposed to bring them down to spec before handing over to the customer. Maybe they missed? If you have the spare check it too, might be low.
Yes. 3M 35% on all side windows and rear two. Didn't do the windshield or moonroof merged no spare... Check out the thread "modifying the new car"
To find a good position to get the auto-dimming mirror functioning properly isn't easy because of the cross bar in the rear window . Has Toyota done something to improve that in gen. 4 ?
Some more pictures. This is from a Prius 4 with Moonstone trim. The white is not bad at all and I love that it makes the car feel bigger than the all black dash trim. It reminds me a lot of the i3 that we were thinking of picking up before this.
Just closed the deal on my Three Touring for $27k + TTL! Got $1,247.22 off invoice (and proud of every penny). To close the deal I requested that they pay for my car to have custom pin stripes and they agreed! Is the Prius really as amazing as y'all make it seem on this forum!? Haha I'm probably questioning how much I'll love it because I don't get to take it home until tomorrow.
Congrats! it's an amazing car once you start enjoying the drive and playing high score with MPGs! It's utilitarian and i'm totally okay with that!
And remember when tinted out a white interior as opposed to a black interior looks a whole lot lighter from the outside. Just saying for folks that are considering tint (you might want to go a shade darker with the tint with a light colored interior)... I've had both and def know
