My thoughts exactly. Though I've toyed with black and orange as an idea before... so maybe.. haha

Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures. What I did was I tapped the lights to the footwell lights so the lights will dim when you drive but bright when you put the gear in Park.

Add the Uktra Racing rear strut tower bar today. Don't expect to feel a difference, but I needed a project. Easy to install, but I did need to buy two washers to go under the nut and some Blue LocTite. Hardest part is cutting the covers to go over the strut bar. I suggest you don't use a box cutter to do this like I did.

The blue tape was used so I could mark different angles using a ruler to determine the size and location of the hole needed. As suggested by another chat member I outlined the plastic covers onto coardborad and cut out a template. Then once I had the hole cut into the cardboard I transferred it to the plastic covers and painstakingly cut the holes. Less is more. Start small and trim. As you can see on my right side cover I cut too much. I drumel tool with a circular saw blade would be best. I also added a slit so the cover could be removed without taking the bar off. Not as clean of a look but it was faster and I grew impatient.

Envious of all the cheaper tint prices. Tint is basically illegal in PA and prices are outrageous where we live. I'm getting my windows done in a few weeks and all my quotes are in the $350 range. Where I'm from in AR it's about $150.

Depending on what tint film your putting on. The cermaic tint are around that ball park. The $150 is the cheaper film. Cermaic are better. Less heat will get into your car.

So we've had a pretty mild winter this year here in Chicago so far. But these past few days have been pretty rough being black ice everyday and at least 5 degrees (what it is currently). So finally had a chance to switch to the winter set. Below is with my summer Continental tires.

but bad news hit me when I found a flat in my Blizzaks when I swapped my summer ones out last night. Thx to @Gaspeed for pointing out I couldve switched the spare with the rear since its FWD. I wanted to definitely do that, but was not worth risking an injury or jack slip in my dark and ice-covered parking lot.

So got 2 michelin X-Ice's to replace the flat and one running a bit low on tread (no Blizzaks in stock). Now running blizzaks in front and X-Ice's in the rear. Will have the Michelins up front next winter and switching to summer wheels in April. I'm liking the "beefier" look from the side profile view as well. Fills the wheel-well nice (sitting on tanabe df210's at the moment).

and yes... I would like a car wash, but they stay closed unless its above 20 degrees. so its gonna be awhile.

Is there any local spot in SoCal where I might be able to find these lights or the smoked versions?

The ebay vendor I bought my Valenti tails from is in SoCal. Might be able to just contact them through PayPal and find out where they are.

oh and forgot, these are the TPMS sensors I replaced in the FRS wheels. Took me 7 months to finally get rid of the amber light! I can finally take off the electrical tape that covered it :ROFLMAO:
