2007 Prius - 3rd brake light replacement

    do I need to remove the spoiler to install the 3rd brake light? (this is in the middle of the spoiler)

    I removed the two screws but looks like there is a wire running into the spoiler.(please see stock image below) but unable to dislodge the power connector socket.

    Nope. the cheapest quote I got was $180 for part and another $90 to install it so decided to hold off.
