I am unable to log in to the regular website. When I push the "Log In" button, the little progress bars just keep spinning, but I never actually get logged in. I am ? to post this.

This problem occurs with Win7 and Chrome. I can log in with IE no problem (but who wants to do that?).

I just figured out that if I right-click on the log-in button and select "Open in a new Window", it will let me log in.

Same thing still happening. Cannot log in with Chrome or IE unless I right-click on the "log in" button, and select "open in a new tab"

I'll do that. Since you haven't been hearing others have this problem, I'll bet it's on my end.

yes, when things are haywire at danny's end, these threads usually fill up pretty fast, unless no one can get in of course.

there are a lot of other threads with suggestions for people who are having problems at their end. all the best.(y)

I have experienced this from multiple browsers. I have to go to the quick navigation link near the botton of the home page and hit the log in link from there. Then I get to a page where I can log in.

For the record, i can't log in using firefox (using different PCs). Chrome and IE rendering is very screwed up. I write this using IE.
For me, this website is #1 technically screwed up in the entire WWW.

Can you tell me what version of each piece of software you're using? Windows 10, Chrome 46, etc?

This made me smile. I feel like I deserve a trophy or something.

I have not been able to log-in, I think, since Friday using FF, this morning I just upgraded to FF 42.0 and still only get the little progress bars that a pp poster mentioned, no log-in screen.

So, I just tried Chrome and no problem with log-in. I will say that I upgraded to Windows 10 on Thursday, which was a major disaster BTW, but I do not think that has anything to do with PriusChat issues.

same here, i upgraded to FF42 this weekend and logon stopped working again. the way i managed to bring it back was by disabling private browsing and allowing 3rd party cookies saved on the PC.

sorry to say, but this site refuses to work when you want private browsing.

    big brother, anyone?

Very true. Chrome still appears in jumbled plain text superimposed on top of itself. (IE was plain text through most of September, then suddenly returned to the "screwed-up" layout it had had since the unfortunate spring update.) Most photos and all links to attachments within posts remain "unavailable" since some time in September.

    This is all really screwy.

I am still using Chrome and have no rendering or log-in issues.

FF 42 (and the previous version) is not working for log-ins, although I can open and browse the site as a guest with no issues -- well other than periodic freezes due apparently to the video ads along the left side of the forum.

I never use IE. I guess I could really go to the darkside and use that Edge thing that Microsoft so kindly (NOT) included in my recent upgrade to Windows 10.

I have not tried the Goodrich workaround, but today, I could not log-in with:

    1) FF42.0

    2) Chrome Version 46.0.2490.80 m

I decided to try MS EDGE for the first time ever, since installing Windows 10 a week ago, and was able to log-in with Edge, version whatever.

When I posted my problem, above, I was using Opera, Chrome, and even tried an older version of IE. All on my home laptop. My suspicion is there was a DNS issue, maybe content comes from multiple IPs for this site? Then it suddenly worked ok. During all of that I could check the site fine from my phone or work computer.

Never any issues for me using IE 11. It defaults to Edge mode for this site.
