Good luck with the new Lexus, it's been a pleasure chatting with you here over the last year. :)

I too traded my Prius (persona) in a couple weeks ago as well for a big ol truck.. Something I always wanted and the time was right (great trade in @22k, great deal on the new truck and huge incentives and discounts) so I jumped...

I now own a new 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4 fully loaded.

I already had it tinted out, Flowmaster super 10 exhaust installed, and line x spray in Bedliner is getting done as I type this.

I'm not leaving " the chat" though as we still own my wife's 2014 Prius v three, and heck I just like it here..

Oh and here are the mandatory pics:

Missed the outdoor activities and that's the reason why I'm trading it in. Love the truck! I still have the hitch and hitch tray from my previous SUV. I didn't sold the accessories because I know I'm coming back to SUVs again. Nice chatting with you buddy. Went to lexus today to service my wife's CT200h and had a short chat with my previous sales guy and checked all the features of the new car. Didn't bite yet thats how I usually do when in terms of buying and let it pass for a week or 2.

    Yeah, right! o_O

I think there may be a market for modified Gen 3 Prii, as is, now that no more of the Gen 3 will be made and aftermarket providers for the Gen 3 slowly disappear from the marketplace. It remains to be seen how well the Gen 4 will adapt to modification

Figured I give hydrodipping a try...
[IMG] it turned out pretty good for my first time! I really like it better than vinyl CF wrapping already! I have plenty extra. So I already have a list of things I want to hydrodip now... steering wheel pillars, dash, air vents, interior door handles, emblems, possibly re-bake headlights to turn inside CF... omg im obsessed with this stuff now...

OH and lastly... a box arrived... and they're not Valenti's! No peeking, but I think I found a BAKEABLE set :eek::eek:
...but wont be disappointed if its still sonic welded

Ahhh. Looks great man. I knew it would drag you back in.
Let me know if you're still getting rid of your oem tails.
And I also may want to get in on that hydro.

Love the sharp cutoff, especially on the sides. Clear lenses really make a difference.

I had to re-read that a couple of times -- BAKEABLE -- as in, you're going to bake your tails?
I think this may be a first, AFAIK.

this is the exact kit I bought from Amazon. The instructions are very clear and precise. I just suggest you watch a few videos on how hydro-dipping actually works. I definitely wanted an easier way than vinyl CF wrapping hard curves and edges, and this is definitely a great solution. This video is the one that introduced me to it. He might be an annoying little kid, but mods his FRS really good. I'll post more things I hydrodip as I keep going this week with it.

so might not need to bake because the housing interior is already black like I wanted. But the sides have a "silver look" because of the textured rivets in the inside of the fiberglass. Nothing I can do about that. But MIGHT bake just to change that side marker to green like my headlights and just tint the bottom 3 red lines (too scared to change those green... dont want someone thinking its a green light in the fog).
    [IMG][IMG]

But my plans might change because of this hydro-kit. Might just mask off the front of the tails and CF dip the sides and call it a day.. not sure. But yes.... I definitely can bake these if I wanted to... still debating...

here's what I did today during lunch break :D

Got a new H11 bulb and I'm still having the same shadow problem as before. Is it possible the projector lense is dirty?
    Is it cleanable?

There must be something in the projector casting that shadow if it's not the bulb.
