Yeah, didn't get around to doing the hood today but in the mean time I did pull my plastdipped hub caps off in favor of carbon fiber coated center caps on my silver alloys.

 

No, it's next door to the chevy dealer. Decided not to do it, giving up the bigger back seat and cargo space and owning vs. leasing wasn't worth it. Not to mention wanting to wait for prius specs.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've been on the chat. No, I didn't hear about this but that's pretty funny that LAPD is in on the green, from what I heard before leaving Tesla, the CHP was buying a couple of Model S P85D's in there fleet.

Oh yes, I'm no longer with Tesla, I'm now working for Northrop Grumman Aerospace building the prototype F-35 Lightning Stealth Fighter. And also been busy re-building my 66 Bug but now I'm back on the Chat.

Any good tire dressing out there probably water based and safe for tires?

 

I use No Touch on all my cars, it's foam, just spray on and that's it. Not too shiny.

Yeah the guy who's supposed to help me used to co-own a graphics shop so he has a decent amount of experience. He is making some custom decals for me as well.

I'll be seeing him at work today so hopefully we can reschedule.

 

I finished my led upgrades. I used sylvannia zevo leds in my license plate and front marker lights, i used philips vision leds in my map light, cargo light, and dome light. I used kolite leds in my vanity mirror and my door lights. The only thing im not happy with is the spread of these lights. They are incredibly bright and the sylvania zevos are pure white.

 

Installed a Black Box G1W-CB dash cam with a 32gb class 10 SD card. I think I should make a build thread a single place to organize everything I have and will do to my prius.
