I reprogrammed mine for a 0 second delay. The dealer can do it if you do not have a OBDII programmer.

Yeah just picked up on that, from TideLand's post. Also, just noticed last night: I'd left my parking lights on, on purpose, and they shut themselves off, after 30 seconds I guess.

Can you do that with ScanGauge? Or it takes Techstream?

Yes, all packages, sorry. I guess there's technically only one Prius model and multiple packages.

Yes, you're right. The U.S. Gen 3 had Auto-Off for all trim levels for 2010 and 2011. Automatic headlights was introduced in 2012 for the Four and Five trim level.

The parking lights should turn off immediately when the driver's door is opened. It's the headlights that have the time delay.

Why bother fumbling with the fob, when it's so much easier to simply turn off the light switch in the car, with the added benefit of reducing chances of a voltage spike nailing your headlights?

On the v Three, you can set the delay in the MFD. I cannot find an Xgauge to set it from the scangauge 2.

Yeah, I believe it requires a different format than the ScanGauge supports with the Xgauges, so you'd need a different device to make the change. The Prius Xgauge spreadsheet has a note about the headlight query not working because the ScanGauge doesn't support CAN 5-byte.
