actually, it does give a bit more intake noise. if you take the heimholtz resonator (white plastic baffle below the rh headlight) and the snorkel off the air box, you will get more noise too. before I received my cone filter, I just had a 2" hose behind the headlight and that definitely was louder.

Sweet, I am taking the bumper off tomorrow between classes to aim the headlights anyway (big hand problems), so I can play with it, how large was cone filter that you bought for it? I can't imagine that there is a buttload of space there.

its a common sized filter; and it barely fits. it is touching the under panel.

WELL!!! one of our members, a fine intelligent classy man, hooked me up with a strut tower brace!! and I finally slapped that bad boy on. I have no idea if it will actually do anything, but it looks very cool, even though I did scratch the paint off it in several places. (did I mention I'm a spaz?)

its a tight fit, hits the brake reservoir cap and the relay box, but Wth? I like it. I'm gonna get the bar powdercoated one of these days, but it won't fit my homie's oven so i'll have to use a pro.

Looks good, I have the Tenabe one. It makes me miss my X-Brace in my mustang.

I'm not sure, but the butt dyno thinks the front end is a little tighter. the more I drive, the more I think the brace does tighten up the front end. seems a bit more responsive; since the prius is made of very thin sheet metal, the brace must reduce flexing of the strut towers.
