    Hi All!

As some of you may remember, I had replaced the Certification ECU on my 2004 Prius, and everything has been working perfectly!

I took the car out for my usual shopping errand, and it occurred to me today that the READY light and Air Bag light were not turning on, while the others all turned on. Now, the car turns on, and drives perfectly fine, but those two lights don't appear to turn on. I am confident that I did not damage anything when replacing the Certificaiton ECU (it required me to disassemble the assembly), now, I currently don't have access to my Mini VCI (I could check to see if any errors show up), but I don't see anything wrong with the car.

At this point I am assuming it may be just a connection I may have missed? But I don't know how I could've missed a connection as they are all simple plugin connectors.

Attached a video to give you guys a better idea of what I mean:

The READY light in fact is there, when the car is made READY. Look between the speedometer readout and the gear selector readout.

I do not think the 2004 has a passenger airbag light in the far right (but mine is not around to check right now.) I agree that newer 2G have that light.

The design of the combination meter and the dashboard slightly changed, probably for the 2006 model year.

Hmm, I don't see the READY light, but when I flash some sort of light, I do see the READY sign physically, but it just doesn't light up.

You actually may be right about the Air Bag, I am now away from the car, I also added on the Air Bag light not lighting up because I thought it would be there, but than again it is a 2004 model.

Well, I saw the READY light, in the video you posted. It first appears at 0:22 in your video.

OH, I didn't even realize that... so just out of curiosity, why is the READY light still placed in the usual spot? I am assuming it never lights up, or I may be just confusing myself, will check in the AM once again.

I'm sorry, but I don't exactly understand what your question is. How would the READY light change position in the display - your inference being that sometimes is might not be in the usual spot.

I had never noticed a difference until now.

Wow, my apologies folks, I didn't even realize that the READY sign just never existed on the usual spot on the 2004 Prius, I guess I was just confusing myself, ha.

I am assuming ABS light is the same situation here... thanks for the clarification, and sorry for the entire confusion!
