What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Hahaha, for under $20 I had to do it

 

I started with that mod then it went to auto folding mirrors. So you know modding is addicting.

 

I installed a 20A fused 12v accessory socket in the right rear hatch attached directly to the 12V battery.
1: Its always live.
2: It can handle the extra current for a high volume harbor freight air compressor (I believe the front ones are fused @10A)
3: I have a low end Coleman NiCad battery jump box that can jump the Prius using this socket so there would be no need to tear down to the battery.

 

What year prius did you install the folding mirrors on?

I just got my strobe stoplight controller I removed the 3rd brake light with 2 screws from the outside of the car, the cables are so short I can't even pull it a bit, can you tell me how you did yours and how to remove the back panelling?

Got it from here. They do have black, and great prices as well. I got a 12"x60" (the smallest I could get) and it was $7.99 with free shipping.

 

I kept the front CF black. I changed my rear to CF red to stand out more. I got them from here vs China slow mail.
