The car that was hoisted is not a real car. Repeat: not a real car.
It is not the car that was driven out onto the turntable.

I looked but didn't get a picture. They were clear.
I too have a Gen2 and the under-seat space is occupied so I was also interested.

Thanks. Space for something 2 inches thick?

    Easy.
From what I saw, just remove the boxes from your Gen2 and that's what was there.
Disclaimer: there were multiple packages on display in Vegas. I (shortsightedly) only checked one of the cars. It's possible that I happened to check the one without the features requiring under-seat components. For example, I have Navi and JBL. Each one requires an under-seat component. I might have checked the car with neither option.

    Thanks TonyPSchaefer -
I was not there, so I have no way of saying for certain. Your picture really illustrates that the tail pipe is painted.

Don't think the tail pipe is painted:

Look at the picture posted above of the Vegas "flying" Prius. It is clear the tailpipe is painted on the under cladding.

The flying one is most likely a mock up - not a real car.

Correct. It's likely a plastic model.

Clearly disappointed :(..........That 2016 prius is hideous looking. If I wanted a cheap looking American car I would have bought one.

Oh well, I have a 2012 that I will have for about 5 more years until I am ready for a new one.I hope Toyota's next redesign is much better.

When I saw the 07 for the first time , I really liked the looks of it. And when I saw the 12 for the first time , I liked it even more .

But when I saw this one for the first time , my reaction was:eek: and then  and then

I guess we'll see if that changes as time goes by.

I can't understand what I'm seeing in the pictures as to what's underneath the carpet in the cargo area.

    These images:

    Rick-HTMLSpinnr-161 | PriusChat
    Rick-HTMLSpinnr-103 | PriusChat

Appear to show that the carpet sits right on top of an uneven foam surface. That doesn't make sense. Is there some sort of hard, even surface between the foam and the carpet?

All that foam looks as though it takes up useful storage space.
