Funny, I didn't realize we had an upper glove box, for about the first four years. My wife suspected Alzheimer's I think. Anyway, couldn't think what to use it for, finally put gloves in it.

 

My G2 has a little compartment below the stereo that the G3 also lost (I think). This one doesn't have that either. That little compartment is really quite important to me, as all my cars (that I've ever owned) have had it or something similar.

Has anyone broken embargo on a shot of the center console? Maybe there's something usable in there.

You're right about the Euro-spec issue, but 59 mpg is the conversion to US mpg, not UK.

I wonder if I can retrofit a Gen IV steering wheel into my Gen III?

I am happy the center console is gone, but the interior has a strange "Star Trek the Motion Picture" look to it, which is not flattering, even from a die-hard Star Trek fan...I don't like losing storage spaces - the car is lacking them already.

The outside is growing on me, though.

 

To me it looks more grandma-like styling. Don't like it.

 

You can just move on then!

 

It's just an opinion. Maybe after I see it more and more I will like it a bit more. Normal reaction. If I seen it on the lot compared to mine I would have still purchased mine.
