That would be me!! I'm a newbie here (1st post) & just bought my Prius a month ago. I've been holding out on you guys but have been taking advantage of ALL the amazing info here on the board. I've done so many mods the past few weeks of ownership to get my Prius where I want it cosmetically and haven't posted anything. This wheel is one of them. I admit, it's been a 1-way relationship! lol

I started on page 1 of this thread last week to see what others have done and if there's anything left that I want to do mod-wise right now. I'm finally on page 421 later and came across this. BTW - I can't even tell you how many hours I've spent on the computer this past week, on the phone or iPad around the house to get to page 421 of this thread. lol

In the spirit of sharing - here's a pic of the installed wheel @Accordlayingkit referenced.

Installed a Plus rear sway bar and a Recaro Sport seat for the drivers side .

Too funny.. He had mentioned that actually. All said & done he was willing to give it up for $435 locally and even assisted in swapping it out on-site at his place. Took about 45mins. Really nice guy. He's actually got another CF one listed locally in So. Cal under a different name, but I didn't like it as much as this one.

 

Just curious, did you try turning contrast way down and brightness up? I couldn't see a thing with my sunglasses on or the sun shining directly on the screen. And looking for some type of cover to help as well. But using this trick (learned here on priuschat) I can see it with no problem even in direct sunlight- not sure why it works so well though.

 

I noticed that....hes selling same one I got from another seller but it seems like there all using the same images for the 1 I have. Looking sweet though bro!

Thats pretty expensive for a steering wheel. I paid mine for $120 piano finish.

 

That seat looks soooooo inviting

 

Finally got my roof spoiler after paint and shipping. It kinda emphasizes how much I need a shark fin now.

I have something similar to that seat bookmarked on my amazon wishlist! Nice to see another person go with Aftermarkets instead of Clazzios. NOT saying they are bad in any way by the way! I know some of you might get upset at that

very clean! Another thing on my to-do list!

 

Do you know if Clazzios do the rear set only? My Prius is all mixed up its a 2 - my rear has cloth , front passenger has a leather seat off a persona and driver seat now the Recaro haha

Thank You @sfv41901. One thing I quickly learned this past week after reading the 435 pages in this thread is that you are officially the "go-to guy" for mods locally in So. Cal. As such, we will soon become good friends I'm sure!! lol

Folding signal mirrors, a wiper delete & fog lights may be in my near future.
