Shaking in park

    Coming home from commute, got off and my exit, and all the sudden it started shaking bad when I slowed down to stop. Stopped in gear or while in park it shakes horribly. Slide in to neutral and you can feel a slight miss or stutter...
    A changed spark plugs.
    Bought one new coil pack and rotated it thru all four, to see if it made a difference on an certain cylinder.... It didn't.

    With the new plugs it's not as bad but I don't know if I should drive it.
    Is there something else I should check or change out?
    Wanted to avoid buying all new coil packs ($85). Unless I had too.

    And info would be appreciated

    i would get a mini vci and check for codes. has it had all it's regular maintenance?

    Cleaning the throttle body is something else you can try.

    Have you tried disconnecting one plug at a time and seeing how it runs?

    It could also be a fuel injector.

    Disconnected one coil at a time and it died with every one that was disconnected.

    Yes on the regular maintainance

    I'm getting the codes ran today hioefully

    Since the idle quality is better when the shift selector is in N, I think the problem is more with the hybrid vehicle ECU and less with the engine. MG1 has to rotate at a suitable speed to allow the gasoline engine to idle. If MG1 is fighting the engine, the symptom you've described would occur.

    When the gear selector is in N, the transaxle motor generators are not electrically engaged, so the engine will operate on its own.

    Try disconnecting the 12V battery for a few minutes, then reconnect. The point of that is to allow the ECUs to power down and reboot.
