Not headlines which are actual news, just random crap like this post Shocking : Tesla Model S gets 26.5 mpg | PriusChat which is debunked at least three different ways in the comments.

If you feel the need to waste valuable screen space with 'featured articles', please filter out the click bait.

I agree, I haven't liked this new 'feature' since it began appearing a few weeks back. It just popped up one day and I assumed Danny included it in an upgrade, added it as an add on, or something like that.

I'll admit, I gave a quick look and didn't see an immediate way to turn it off, lol.

Edit: I actually just found where to turn it off etc but I'll let Danny do as he pleases with it, its settings etc.

The worst part is if you're reading an on going thread, clicking on the headline link only takes you to the OP not the first unread post.

Jimbo, please feel free to report anything you see like that and a mod will "un-feature" the thread. You can also use the report system to nominate a thread that should be bumped to "Featured" status.

The feature system is something new that I'm playing with to replace what we used to have as a portal front page system. What specifically are you guys not liking? The block at the top of the forums page?

Let me see about fixing that. That should actually be fairly easy.

This appears to be more difficult than I initially thought. For now, just use the "Go To First Unread" link, or append /unread to the end of the thread url. I'll look for a more elegant solution.

    Something is missing though.
We have urgent news (sell out of PiP).
Currently someone interested in PiP might visit and never see Dianne's thread saying last PiPs are here.

Presumably we want to reward visitors to this site with hot info if there is message we need to get out.
Currently any key messages are hidden deep inside some few threads.
