What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

I hope I don't regret doing this at night. I'm thinking that I'll jump in and jam up to Torrance, and as soon as I get parked I'm suddenly going to see all the weird smudges and water spots.

@Starbrand lets reschedule the meet. I completed my android headunit, amp and subwoofer install. all speakers are JL audio. The sound are so clear and fine. I hate to leave my car and always wanted to stay in there and chill.

 

Really wish I could! But we're doing a road trip to Colorado for a wedding! I don't know many people that buy a car and drive it 1000 miles the next day, but it passed the Toyota safety inspection with flying colors, has new tires, brakes, and oil; so I'm feeling good!

Can't wait to meet y'all at a meet up though! I've been lurking here for a while, and definitely have learned more about this car than the dealer I bought it from! I'm expecting to drop some cash on mods, and totally expect to give that dough to SFV to help me install awesomeness on my new toy!

 

I drove mine to Tahoe the morning after I bought mine. A new set of wheels always makes a road trip that much more fun.

 

Washed the white Prius for the first time. Just a quick one but I have to say that I much prefer washing this one that the old Forester I had : Clean lines, limited curved panels and a reachable roof !

Only thing I couldn't clean, areas close to the rear door protected by some kind of clear film ... any advice ?

 

I seldom push the "turbo boost" button but everytime I do, I can't keep my finger off of it.

Installed Cproaudio's turn signal reverse camera activation mod+ navigation override mod from the Priuschat store today. Pretty straight forward install, quality kit. Love it so far!

Just got my engine cover painted. Cleaner looking then the factory paint

 

Did you put those wheels on the first night you had the car too?

 

The dealer put those on.
It was a good move on their part too. Without them, I might have just kept walking down the line.

 

30k service

oil filter cap was tight as expected from dealer service under the 2yr 24k service deal... Transmission fill/drain screws were extremely tight. The transmission fluid was darker than expected at 30k....so I feel good about having a fresh fluid in there.

and misc. "inspect" items ... lol

 

oh and Heated Seats are WIRED.... totally not necessary in middle of summer...but I hate waiting to get things done!
