I wonder how much hydrogen is in my sh*t. I may be flushing fuel down the toilet.

Or we could just use the poo methane to offset electric and heat requirements at the farm directly.

So 50 miles/kg in a 5kg tank, of which maybe 4 will be usable (assuming 20% of the "tank size" is reserved like in the Toyota hybrid models), so a 200 mile range? At nobody knows how much money per kg?

So it's free at the moment? Surely they must be charging for it somewhere? Or are all hydrogen trials offering free fuel/

Up until very recently, fueling stations didn't have an "approved" method of charging.
The companies making FCVs are including three years of H2 fueling as part of the lease package.
This allows regulations to catch up.
What will the H2 cost in three years? That is a good question. Lots of estimates ranging from $3/kg to $11/kg.

IIRC, one of the Japanese articles I linked in the past said hydrogen was 1100 yen/kg there.

In the same paragraph, he seems to have said it was an uphill drive with 3 people in car driving pretty fast.

Hakone round trip ran a little in addition to, but this time it was with a pretty electricity steep climb of the turnpike. At the time when the trip meter ran about 260km back to Tokyo, the remaining amount of fuel warning light is illuminated.Because cruising distance by the rest of the hydrogen had cut the 80km at this time, this time it was calculated that it can not run only 350km or less in full.Is an impression that little Na is short legs.Well, there is also the fact that high speed and gradient tight root of three people riding, is also under adverse conditions for a little future.

But I bet that excludes the government cost of building the stations and infrastructure.;)

    Impressed.

The link also informs that the 3 years of hydrogen fuel is $15,000 worth. Now we just need a kg price.
