The new Toyota SM at this new location gave me the same part and said don't worry whether it has a buzzer or not replace the same part.

I haven't seen the diagram as I'm rushing to find out the quickest way to get it because they have my car and it will only take them one more hour to put it on!

    holy crap!!

what to do! they will give me a car loaner for one day,
i purchased the part out of CA but can't get through to them to have it overnighted.

What about the Wheel sensor they charged me for an hour and it took the corner shop to put it on in 15 mins as I WATCHED him and i have seen that done twice now! Patrick said that was not unreasonable for a stealership.

what to do? I am afraid to remove it from the lot, unless I go pick it up and say 'thank you very much I shall take my car back now' and pay them for what? They took off the wheel sensor becuase he did say that wasn't it. So I can send that back.

oh my gosh what to do? I think they should call it even after all of this! $500 bucks i suppose is good vs the 3300.00 the original dealer was going to charge me. what to do?

$250 for the LD Wheel Sensor part and I guess 250 to put it on. So I know he is taking the 250 wheel sensor off as that isn't it, and putting my other back on, so he will charge me for one hour, so I hope he doesn't add it onto that 500.00.. i'm stressed and tired, and need to leave as I have someone's car today, going to go to dealer and he could let me have a loaner for one day trying to decide if i am going to do it.

Best not to guess. Find out what you owe, and what an hour of labor costs.
Are they going to charge you to put back the old part they now think is fine ?

The part from CA will take more than 1 day. I suggest you don't take the loaner if you plan to need it for more than 1 day.

The two nuts on the bottom brackets are a piece of cake, but the one at the top is a different story. You can see the top nut (not in the picture), but getting a socket on it is a different story. I've only ever done one, and it wasn't the problem. Someone else (dealership) changed a bunch of other stuff but the problem kept coming back after a week or two. All I did was rule it out. Turned out to be a bad or dirty connection under the hood.

Was the bad connection at the brake actuator pump?

Yes. I disconnected it to have a look at the terminals but they looked fine. After that I noticed the problem went into hiding for a bit longer than usual. When the problem came back, I cleaned the connections and the problem took a little longer to come back. In the end I cleaned them again and added contact improver and the problem went away.

Well I'm not going to take A loaner because it's not going to get here from California until almost Monday .

I like what sagebrush said I need to get some exact information on what they're going to do so I'm going to talk to them tomorrow because yeah what they're going to give me back and put back the old part I need to see exactly what I'm being charged for ..

Great information from everyone! I hope it's a good part and they do this correctly and I like the idea of the dealership doing it because they are the only ones I can trust at this point

Looking at those production dates all I know is that months of 2004 but the dealer did tell me it would be the part ending in the 60 ... That is the part I ordered

Sounds like you ended up paying about 1/10th of the original estimate.
    Well done!

Big lesson learned in long ordeal I tell you what I would've never made it without the people on this forum!

So now I'm going to have to write reviews . the first dealership wanted $1000 to install that ECU yes they said the whole dash had to be pulled out but I don't think the dash ever had to be pulled from what I learned on this forum and the other dealer said they could do it in less than an hour. I was very happy with the second dealership they seem to be very very fair with me
