First of all, it's radar-based. Stop calling it laser cruise. Toyota hasn't had laser cruise since the last gen Sienna & Avalon.

Also, how is DRCC complicated to use? It's becoming a common option in everyday cars. You just have to learn how to use it.

Consider reading up on the extensive postings here on the frozen display issue. Replacing it has not fixed it for others, but at least you got the dealer to go that far. In any case, all you have to do is reset the display by holding down the radio power knob to force a reboot.
Aside from that all your complaints are due to your unfamiliarity with the systems. If you really hate the car, trade it in.

I find the stalk handy when I'm trying to pace someone in front, typically one or two down taps, quite convenient.

Maybe if you stop calling it laser it would work.

Every new car takes some getting used to.

Some manual reading too. Especially now that the electronics are so capable that they are, of necessity, complex to operate. If they didn't give you all the options, they could be simple. But then folks would be complaining that the way they wanted it wasn't an option.

I found I'd operate, read, learn something new, then test it and then read again, learn another option and on and on until I could do at least what I wanted to do. After 2 years, I'd guess I use less than 80% of the capabilities. But learn something new every time I pick up the manual.

well for that price you could get 16 wheels with tires and no car to put them on Tesla Gear Shop — Model S > Wheels, Tires, and Tire Covers

or 33 wall charging stations (EVSEs) Tesla Gear Shop — Wall Connector

But if you are willing to put down $50,000 you can hit Pre-Owned Model S | Tesla Motors and grab an entire car. (moving target right this second 60 kWh Model S P11623 | Tesla Motors is the cheapest but who knows when you click how much it will be).

Of course for the same price you could by 5 used Nissan Leafs in nice enough condition (2011 or 2012 with all the options are about $10,000 a piece on a used car lot right now).

    Tesla CPO Consolidator

lets you sort by price, color, etc for all regions. Quite useful for daydreaming or actually buying/selling.

You can see the sold cars prices as well.

When I no longer enjoy driving, that may be an option to consider.

Granted I got my v-3 in January (in Minesota), but I started out at about 38 MPG. Now with warmer weather (60s) and 3000 miles on it, I'm getting close to 50 MPG.

In this instance I find "cancel" and then when I reach the speed of the car in front "set" useful, just two operations of the stalk.
I guess I'm an old school cruise control guy, when we didn't have the up and down speed controls and I just got used to on, off and set.

I'd probably have one for commuting and something else for the weekends.
