I had a 2012 VW GTI for a while and got spoiled. All the windows had auto-up/down switches so you didnt have to hold them down. Is it as simple as getting 3 more auto switches and installing them into the driverside door?
I believe there is a safety mechanism built into auto windows. They are suppose to reverse/stop if a baby gets their head stuck. My 2010 has all auto, but it's the 5 with ATP model
I'm a bit offended that you can't google "DEI 530T" It's window control module that turns any power window into full auto up/down. It can integrate with aftermarket alarms to roll the windows up upon arming the alarm. Within a few seconds of arming, you can crack the windows. Also with in a few seconds of disarming the alarm, you can roll down the windows if you want to.
You're right, I should have looked that up myself. My apologies. But I appreciate your taking the time to explain despite my lack of initiative
