    guys.

I tried searching, but I use Tapatalk. For whatever reason, it doesn't like to allow me to search. I say this to apologize in advance if this has been covered.

For those of you that have lowered your C, did you have difficulty getting it into decent alignment? Do I need to purchase a camber kit? I'm on Tanabe DF210s, which are no lower than 1.8", I believe! I'm making an appt. for this Thursday to get the alignment done. I had springs installed this past Friday but wanted to wait a few for them to settle. (I put about 800 miles a week on the car.)

Basically, I'm just looking to know whether the shop should be able to get the car within spec. without the addition of a camber kit or anything else that might be required for the alignment.

800 miles of travel after installing springs will be plenty for it to settle. In my experience, there should be no issues with alignment afterwards as you don't seem to have gone too low. The only issues I've come across in the past is when I've gone too low, i.e. the driveshafts were fouling the ARB on a previous car

You really shouldn't need a chamber kit unless your wheels are arching like a mofo. I'm on Tein H Tech (1.4 drop) and I was able to get dialed back to spec with no issues. You look like you're sitting about the same height as mine.

Never updated this. Guy at shop said he was able to get everything within spec. I've put probably 10,000 miles on since install and don't see any uneven wear on tires.

I'm really happy with these springs. I'd love to be lower and do coilovers, but I commute over 100 miles a day and can't be bothered with all of the headaches that come with being too low. Been there, done that. I'm supposed to be keeping this car practical.

Anyway, I am using the stock shocks and really have no complaints with the DF210s.

How's the wider wheel and tires setup?
    Any hit on MPG?
Overall setup looks nice and sporty!

I can't find any narrow wheels like 15x6....

Thanks for the compliment. The Grids are 15 x 6.5". I kept stock tires. They weigh about 15 pounds each, so I'm saving weight. I haven't noticed any change in MPG. If anything, I'd expect an improvement from the weight reduction. Either way, its negligible. I consistently average 50 mpg.

    thanks!

Your rear springs don't bottom out with passengers? And, did you have to cut the bumpstops in front?

Had a shop install them, so I'm not sure whether they modified the bump stops.

I hardly have passengers. I did have 3 of us in the back on one occasion, and there weren't any problems. You should be good.

Did you transplant the factory TPMS to your rotas?
Thinking of ordering a set of Slip Streams...

Also, which window visor set are those?

Yes. And go for it... I love my Rotas. They look great, are light, and are very strong. I have hit a bunch of damn potholes, and they're still true.

I think the ride is pretty smooth.

The instructions for tanabe springs do have you cut the front bump stop down a little.
