Are you suggesting she's giving birth to this car? I guess that would be easier than giving birth to a Scion Cube though.

    Nissan makes the cube

    Scion make the xb

Just a misnomer, I have owned both in the past. Would not wish anyone to give birth to either. Lol.

I guess this is how we kill 6 months.
    Let's argue/discuss cup holder aesthetics.
    Or perhaps center console design?

    Here's something to discuss ....

I hope the 4th gen Prius does not have vertically-grained eco plastic that can be EASILY scratched with just a fingernail ( reaching for the door handle, etc ... ) This vertically grained plastic makes up most of the door and center console panels and glove boxes in 3rd gen Prius.

Anyone manage to not scratch these panels in their gen 3 Prius? I can't imagine how you avoided scratches.

As said in my first post in this thread, we know that Prius next gen will have better interior close to Auris and Avensis in Europe and comparable to French or German standards.
I read some good news in the new hybrid RAV4's press release : "Improved interior quality with more premium materials"
2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid electrifies with updated styling, more tech
This is clearly a standard for new Toyota cars.

When it was revealed at the New York Auto Show yesterday (which I watched via live stream), the presenter said that sound deadening material will be increased in the floor of the vehicle to make the Rav4 quieter. Hopefully, they will do this for the Prius even though that would add some weight.

in no way would i get my hopes up for the prius, based on rav 4 offerings. i would like to see several reduced mpg prius offerings with sound deadening and less aero body, but i doubt it's going to happen.

Yes, no sharp objects inside the 4-year old vehicle.

When the "v" came out I was a little puzzled: it's still a 5 seater, and it's dimensions are a minor increment larger than the regular Prius. It's ok I guess.

We just helped one of our sons get a boxed barbecue home. It was right at the limit: the loading bay guys were sceptical: with the rear seats down, the first attempt to push the box in connected with the top of the hatch opening. Then we centered the box more carefully, put our backs into it, and in it went. Someone said "yeah, Prius".

If it'd been the v I expect it would have gone in easy, maybe with rear seats still up, due to straighter roof line? But I do not know, it's not for me: I'd hate to give up the mpg edge.

TNGA will increase rigidity and therefore reduce vibration. TNGA is lighter so you can add more sound deadening and still gain weight.

No need for sun block. Auto glass filters out the UV rays. Transitions eye glasses stay clear inside a car.

The Prius v has MUCH more cargo space than the gen 3 Prius. It's huge in comparison.

However, part of it is at the expense of rear seat leg room, which means a no go for our child car seats. But I didn't like the Prius v overall anyway, so it was easy to pass on the Prius v.

This image appeared in the HybridLife forum which was introduced to us by parkerbol, and I actually like it. What do you think.

I'll *like* it when I actually *see* it, but at least the semi-"guppy-grill" isn't as bad as earlier concepts depicted.
