Isn't this article not one year old (or at least updated on the 27th of March 2015)? Hmmm...this article makes me think otherwise of Toyota - as in they're going to blitz the auto market and change it forever...so they are not going to leak anything.

A 10% increase is what every competitor auto maker is betting on.

Toyota being quiet...all their fleet could increase 10% while their hybrids 15%+ - they'll rule the market :O I'm excited.

The 15% figure could be in relation to the easy JC08 test.

I'd be happy if that 15% MPG improvement was decreased to only 10% in exchange for better sound deadening.

Is this Gen4 Prius without the skin?

That's probably a whole bunch of 2016 Toyota cars without the skin, since it's a common platform.

2015 New York auto show where is the 2016 Prius. I have to give it to Toyota; the 2016 Prius is approaching
the same level as the Manhattan Project when it comes to secrecy. We can now see the 2016 Volt, 2016 Malibu
    hybrid, but no 2016 Prius.

Gen4 is looking awesome. It will be a bigger jump than from gen2 to gen3! 15% higher efficiency rather than 10%. Better handling car with lower center of gravity. Probably better fit and finish along with better interior materials with the savings from TPS 2.0.

I should have held onto my 2006. :) But then I love my 2012 PiP.

Wow! This going to be one hot car. It even has a spare tire, or is that a roundish battery?

From the third pic, it looks like a sedan to me; Looks at the chassis around the rear seatbacks, That doesn't look to allow a flat load floor of a hatchback / Prius,
I think the 2nd pic is just the 3rd gen Prius testing something.

The skeleton looks to have the same blind spot problem in the front, again.

So, the exact same front end in essence, with less headroom and less hatch spaceā€¦ sounds awesome. lol!

I must have the hatch, but please give me styling that offends people.
